{Day Three} Why So Serious?

Color.

Is your home covered from floor to ceiling in one of the following?
beige.
white.
tans.
other.(neutrals).

Well STOP RIGHT THERE!

It is time we introduced some COLOR. into your life! Don't be scared. Color can be fun! I will show you how to choose the color of your dreams... and then how to use it!

Gray
Gray started out as a trendy color... and then never went away! Gray is sleek, sophisticated, and can still be NEUTRAL! 



Red
Red is the boldest color you could use! Maybe you have been brave enough to paint your front door this bold statement color? Well bring it inside! This is a fabulous mood lifting color that can be as little as a color pop to wall paint!

Pink
Who is responsible for naming pink a childs color? It absolutely not limited to a little girls room! This color can be very sophisticated and brightens any mood! Pops of pink is very uplifting! Plus the right hue can really romantisize any room in the house if used on the wall or statement pieces!

Orange
Orange may not be your first choice, but for some homes it is the RIGHT choice! Don't ever be afraid to add some statements of orange inside your home. Mixed with the right accents this color can be very calm and relaxing! Plus there are so many shades of orange you can really have fun with this color!

Yellow
If you are a neutral lover then you should LOVE the idea of yellow! This uplifting color makes every instantly happy and gives them a sense of feeling welcome! By mixing yellow with blue's you have an airy, fun, Mediterranean theme instantly! If you want a more neutral feel mix this shade with gray. Gray and yellow LOVE each other!

Green
Designers call this color lively, refreshing, and eye catching! Who wouldn't love that in their home? This color looks great ANYWHERE and mixes well with almost any color in the rainbow! Paint your walls, add accents, re tile your kitchen, you name it, any shade of green will make it!

Blue

Purple
Purple is tricky. Purple is most commonly used in childrens spaces! However, when used correctly, the right hue can make any room explode with romance, elegance, and relaxing vibes! We LOVE purple! A+ to anyone who is brave enough to test this ROYAL color in their home!

White
Sometimes white is just what is best for YOU! So don't let it be boring, let it be a statement! Use different shades from creamier to crisper whites. With white you need to go BIG or go home....

Brown
If you're still not sold on color and feel like you're wanting to stick with your beige don't feel bad! Beige is amazing because you simply just can't get it wrong! However, don't let your space get boring. Add some darker richer chocolaty brown accents to spice up any beige space!
