{Day One} Colors You Can't Go Wrong With!

Have you ever wanted to add some color to your home but: 1. You're too afraid and 2. You don't know where to begin? Well this week I have tons of color ideas that are EASY, FUN, and DOABLE! Don't ever be afraid of color! It's fun, plus a little paint and some fun accents are never hard to change out with the times and trends!

I personally feed off of color, I think it is what makes your room the room that it is. Walking into a room at the end of a hard day or work and getting kids ready for bed can really make or break my mood! As classy as neutrals are, you never want to get lost in a sea or beige and white! Even a small pop of color can make a white room more enjoyable!

Here are 8 color options that always work and almost never go out of style!

{Blue & Yellow}
This is the easiest color combo! You have literally no limitations to the shades of blue and yellow you choose to use! You can do anything from an airy sky blue mixed with a light nursery yellow to a bold navy and canary yellow combo!

This combo is fun, youthful, bold, and soothing! Who wouldn't want all of those things in your home? This is also very versatile  it can be very contemporary but is most common to a traditional home.

{Black & White}
Who doesn't love this combo? Sleek, sophisticated, calm, and always inviting! You can really play around with this combo. Plus, if you're normally a neutral lover, you will love that you can keep your walls a sleek white and still have color within your accents!

Another thing I LOVE about the black and white combo is that you are ALWAYS going to be able to find decor! Can't go wrong with black and white!

{Pink & Green}
Some people think pink and green is too youthful for their home. WRONG! It's all in the shades that you choose that will make or break the room! For a little girls room you are going to be using anything from hot pink to baby pink white vibrant greens and limes. For an adults bedroom you are going to want to use "dirty" colors! Olives, Pearls, Blush, Mauve Pink, etc! Plus, don't ever be afraid to mix and match shades in this combo. They accent each other very well!

{White & Navy}
For those neutral lovers, you will be so in love with this combo! This combo is so fresh, clean, sleek, and inviting! For a subtle theme, go with a white wall and add some navy accents. For a bold theme, paint the walls navy and keep the decor white! How chic!?

What I love about this combo is that it will never go out of style and will always be inviting and fabulous in any room!

{Grey & Yellow}
Anyone can fall in love with this combo!! This is the best of both worlds! You can use this combo with any theme from contemporary to traditional! Grey is so low key that the yellow brings out it's best features! Where as the yellow is so proud that the grey brings it back down to earth a little!

These colors LOVE each other  They are very complimenting toward one another and so pleasing to the eye. You can never go wrong with this timeless color combo!

{Red & Beige}
If I haven't convinced you to do away with your beige by now, don't worry! I have a tip to use with beige! Add some RED!! These colors just work! Red will brighten any beige room and turn it from drab to fab in seconds! You can be bold with the red or low key, just a red lamp and some accent pillows are going to make the room explode! If you're in love with your beige but hungry for some color, trust me when I say red is your special treat!

{Orange & Blue}
For extreme color lovers, try this blue and orange combo! Super fun, fresh, and inviting! You can do anything from drastic with burnt oranges and navy to something very neutral with pale lighter tones.

{Chocolate & Lavender}
If you're feeling really excited to try something new, fun, fresh, and timeless try some lavender with your chocolates! This is a very warm, cozy, relaxing combo that will make your friends jealous! Don't be afraid to do a deep chocolate wall and mix and match shades of lavender within your decor!

Are you brave enough?
